Orto d’Autore is a family-run agricultural company located in Molise, Italy, specializing in the production of tomato sauces, pesto, legumes, and fruit preparations.

The Birth of Orto d’Autore:
Every summer in Ururi, a small village in Molise, entire families would gather to produce traditional tomato sauce. This tradition was also shared by the D’Arienzo family, expert tomato cultivators and custodians of many other typical Molise specialties. In the year 2000, Angelica and Antonella, wives of the D’Arienzo brothers, had the insight to enhance this tradition, giving life to Orto d’Autore. Thus, the tomato sauce from our land, both delicious and genuine, has become a source of pride that has allowed us to gain recognition in Italy and around the world.

Orto d’Autore has a solid foundation rooted in a united family that has managed to turn their passion into work. The D’Arienzo family boasts extensive experience in the agricultural field, and thanks to their deep connection with this remarkable land and their ability to preserve traditions and passion, even the new generations have joined what the family tradition has brought forth and nurtured.

In addition to their extensive expertise in the tomato coltivation, Orto d’Autore has made significant investments in agriculture and production, allowing them to venture into new crops, particularly legumes. But that’s not all! The company now proudly boasts a multitude of orchards, where they have been producing the finest fruit preparations on the market for several years.

Companies that achieve IFS certification demonstrate compliance with rigorous standards of hygiene, food safety, quality control, and production process management. SA8000: The SA8000 certification pertains to corporate social responsibility criteria.
